Princess Coco, oh yes, you know the right cocoa beans to use in that stunningly good hot chocolate of yours. You feel like Cinderella being swept away by your charming prince at long last, after devouring one of their five hot chocolate sensations, where all good things (do indeed) come to those people who wait.
Speaking of which, you don't have to wait extremely long for service, and for your hot chocolate treat to come to your 'coffee table.' If you wish to take away, that option is also available. Hot chocolate to take away is $5.50 a pop, while to dine in (as you can see in the images), each hot chocolate treat is $6.80 a pop. Fairly good value, especially for the ambience, as well as for the quick and polite service received.
Simple, rustic ambience.
There are also ample magazines to read, yet you're not reading for too long due to the prompt service received. You'd be lucky to receive faster service (on a not so busy occasion) at your local fast food restaurant, let alone at a chocolate cafe.
Watching a chocolate treat surface
Went for a standard hot chocolate treat, and for the life of me, I cannot remember the name. I loved my pleasant chocolate coma, to say the least, and right on Darling Harbour as well. Well, just across the road from Darling Quarter, and therefore technically (still) Darling Harbour.
More chocolate displays
Came with an interesting marshmallow treat. Despite some of the marshmallow melting against the hot cup, the serving size was just right. Felt full afterwards, and that strong cocoa flavour comes alive without feeling too milky or creamy. Definitely did not feel bloated afterwards.
Great to walk off along Darling Harbour afterwards, and perfecto on a Saturday night. Smokers, there are ash trays for you to sit outside on some outdoor petite furniture. So love the purple sofas. That rustic feel. Will come back for more.
