In addition the function room (located upstairs) is available for hire seven days a week.
Thali patters of rice and curry (from $6) are worth your buck, served with three vegetable dishes. Mix together and enjoy. Other best sellers include the string hoppers ($0.30 each), complemented with a free serving of sothy and sambal, and dosai ($3.50).
We ordered spring hoppers with sothy and sambal which was great, however the meat curry we had to accompany it was quite overpowering in heat and lacking in flavour. Yoghurt needed to be added to ensure a milder taste.
If you want their best options, look into the specials (only served on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays), especially the Friday lunch on a banana leaf ($8) offering small portions of nine vegetables, vadai, rasam, papadam and paayasam for dessert.
