The Coffee Club Nepean is located along the scenic Nepean River on Tench Road Penrith - and is one of the cafe hot spots in Western Sydney. Offering something for everyone from mums with bubs, to lovebirds wanting a romantic dinner.
The Famous delicious Reuben Sandwich
With stunning rural surroundings, it is hard not to feel like you are away from the hustle and bustle of the suburbs - away on some farm stay in the country. The cafe offers a large outdoor field ideal for family gatherings with children, and also includes an enclosed indoor play activity - complete with a big slide.
The great outdoors area for kids to run around.
The introduction of the new American style menu features classics such as the Reuben Classic sandwich ($14.50), The Philly Cheese Steak ($14.50) and classic New York, New York Cheesecake ($9.90). For the lovers of a more traditional menu, try the Chicken schnitzel ($17), Linguine Cabonara ($16) or the fresh Greek Salad ($14).

The Rocking Reuben with its famous pickels
My partner and I went all out American to relive our recent visit to the States, but firstly starting with a stopover in Greece with the delicious chicken and haloumi skewers ($9.50). Juicy pieces of chicken paired with soft melting haloumi - served with a cooling yoghurt and cucumber sauce.

Now that the tastebuds were humming - a flashback to the famous Katzís Deli in New York came rushing back once my eyes laid on the Reuben Sandwich. A killer combo of sliced pastrami and melted Swiss Cheese, served on a toasted ciabatta bread. Oh and the trademark dill pickle, how can I not forget the pickle.
Up close and personal with the pastrami
Onto the Philly Cheese Steak - a mouth watering sensation of steak served with caramelised onions, roasted capsicum and melted cheese on toasted ciabatta bread. If you have any room left, there is also the generous side servings of salad and chunky house fries.
For those of you that are hardcore American food lovers - you will find these meals are more inspired by the originals then like the actual thing. More of PG
(and probably much healthier) interpretation.
As full as I may have been, I could not resist the New York, New York cheesecake - topped with a raspberry sauce, served with fresh cream and ice cream. A moderate sized serving which is ideal for sharing.
Indulge in the New York, New York Cheesecake.
