Full of protein goodness

All Good Things Eatery - with all of the good foods, has opened about four weeks ago in beautiful Kingsgrove. This spacious cafe and eating space is located in a new chill out shopping and play space called The Pottery, with an abundance of new apartments on site. Ever so convenient, as this foodie establishment is right behind the train station.

Came here one Sunday morning, and this place was buzzing with customers. A hot spot for locals and visitors to the area alike. Needed a so called 'lunch break' from the home office, and was too lazy to walk here. Caught the two minute train instead. Arrived just before midday, and was hoping to catch some brunch. Just missed out. Their breakfast menu finishes up at 11:30am every day.

Simply yet quirky ambience

Never mind. The lunch menu was so appetising. The difficulty was in deciding on what to choose. The Chicken Burger looked good at first, and so did some yummy salad further on down the list. Instead, the Beef Burger ($16) with onion jam, lettuce, tomato, aged cheddar cheese and beetroot on a fresh, sweet brioche bun was the winner.

Looked so mouth watering at the time

So glad it was. That beef was so well cooked. Definitely cooked with some TLC. Some love. Fresh, juicy and filling too. Loved the beef. So glad I did not do as the romans do on such occasions. The cutlery was my best friend. Felt like a real meal. It took a while to devour. A great break indeed.

I did not need the latte ($4) after all, however it was a great compliment to a fantastic lunch here. Remember to ask for some water, you'll need it.

Did not do as the romans normally would on this occasion

A laid back ambience, and the communal table is simple yet elegant with an abundance of flowers. Fresh lemons sat atop a Coca Cola box.

Things that make you say yum

Loved the look of the sweets at the front counter, when it came time to pay.

I'll return to The Pottery to eat here, however for a breakfast dish next time.

A glimpse of the fresh lemons
