Editors choice the turkish delight. Mmmm.

If you have read the name of this establishment, and all of a sudden sweets, treats and lollies come to mind; then you're in sugar luck. Candy Licious at Westfield Parramatta is home to all kinds of sweets. From chocolate to lollies, fudges, and anything with sugar on it.

The people behind Candy Licious have been smart enough to perch their shop near the kids play land area, and within good reason too. Coming from the top floor, come down the escalator, and those sweet cravings might hit you, and when you'd least expect them to. Westfield's at Parramatta is one busy shopping centre to begin with. It's easy (and sometimes viable) to munch on a bit of sugar to help calm your nerves, and cope with large crowds of people shopping, and especially on a weekend as well. This is where sugar can be good medicine, yet not to excess.

Vibrant Candy Licious

For $2.95, you're entitled to 100 grams of sweets. You just pick up a bag (like a candy bag) and help yourself around the circle, only using the specified tongs for each sweet. I went for a couple of jelly treats, some chocolate rocks, and a piece of turkish delight. The Turkish Delight wins.

The Turkish Delight

Naturally the lollies coated with sugar would be super sweet. Just have your water bottle with you handy, just in case. The chocolate rocks were divine, with just the right amount, with that strong cocoa flavour powering through your senses. The taste is a border between milk and dark chocolate.

The Chocolate Rocks

The turkish delight is powdery, and it is ever so sweet. It would be great if the pieces were a little smaller. The sweetest turkish delight treat I have tasted in a long, long time. It's everlasting.

That other sweet chosen

Not bad going. Friendly staff, and they're rather efficient at what they do. I brought about 80grams, and that came to $2.65 all up.

Thank you Candy Licious
