CQ Cafe Sydney City

CQ Cafe is a trendy and welcoming cafe right at Gateway - none other than the fabulous Circular Quay. I was first introduced to this establishment about a month ago by a girlfriend. She took me here to treat me to an afternoon drink of my choice, after we spent a lovely afternoon together at the Sydney Opera House.



This particular girlfriend of mine was turned off by the service. The particular staff member at the time was a little rude to her. On the other hand, I came here last Sunday for a cool down drink, and I found the service to be seamless and friendly otherwise.



This place is at the hub of all amazing things. On a hot day, you will be lucky to nab yourself a fairly shady spot outside. Otherwise, soak up the sun for a bit. The most stylish black framed sunglasses are in vogue here. All good. I am impressed with how organised things are inside as you go in. If you choose to take away, there is no table service. Full table service is provided otherwise.



The food appears to be fresh, and is definitely well displayed. After yoga, I came here and enjoyed another Iced Chai Latte ($7) alone. It arrived on my table in no time. I should have asked for some water. Never mind. I devoured this cool concoction of heaven in no time at all, with a few ice cubes left over.



The chai spice was a little hard hitting at first, and then the milkiness dumbs the flavour down, however, this is still one delicious treat. The chai flavour is still alive and well.



Next time, I'll need to try something else. A lovely drink for someone in a lovely mood at the time.
