Hurricanes Grill Top Ryde
As a summer storm approached, we decided to go to [Linkhttps://topryde.hurricanesgrill.com.au Hurricane's Grill] in Top Ryde without a booking.
Luckily enough we were seated in the beautiful alfresco dining area where we were spoiled with a southerly breeze. We ordered, and our waitress was most accommodating and very attentive.

Our entrée was delivered a mere 10 minutes later. The salt and pepper calamari was outstanding. Piping hot, home made, crunchy and peppery. The only criticism was that there was no aioli as promised on the menu.

Within another 10 minutes, our mains arrived. No complaints, as my 350g sirloin steak was delivered how I asked; perfectly medium rare. It cut through like butter and it took me back to the days where I dined at Spigolo (now closed). The steak was juicy and full of that flame-grilled flavour, yum!
[Image3 These ribs are a little messy to eat, but well worth the effort.]
I was also privileged enough to taste the 1/2 rack of pork ribs. They were moist, with enough bite, but no tug and they were definitely not overdone as so many ribs can easily be. They were cooked to almost perfection and the sauce that accompanied the ribs was flavorsome enough, without being too heavy and killing the subtle taste of the meat.
With fast, friendly service and delicious food, Hurricane's Grill in Top Ryde is hard to beat.
