Oliver Brown Chocolate Cafe Rouse Hill
Oliver Brown Chocolate Cafe in Rouse Hill is not only a heaven for chocolate lovers, but also a haven for parents with busy bee toddlers ever so ready for action. Ideally located near a open play area OB (Oliver Brown) is one cafe that's never empty.
OB most certainly is not your usual boring chain cafe. The interior itself is quite inviting with the Olive green and brown colour scheme spreading through to every nook and corner.
Though the place is busy at all times, there is plenty of room for everyone with the cafe spreading out to a large alfresco area.
The type of foods on the menu that caught my eye were all sweet delights. With photos of each treat well presented in their menu, OB certainly knows how to tempt even the die hard savoury lover like me to order a sweet treat. It's no secret that OB is overflowing with sweetness.
Nevertheless the cafe does offer savoury options, but since I had already fed my hungry brood and had my breakfast; I opted to settle down with a Mango Slice ignoring the savouries that were beckoning me.The Mango Slice is a delight I highly recommend. It's flavour is quite unusual, shouting mango in every way.
The macarons at OB are made to perfection. They can only be described as tantalising droplets of melting sweetness that you will not be able to have enough of.
The treat that left me speechless was the decadent hot chocolate ($5.50) with that unmistakeable true Belgium chocolate flavour.
It's a pity I don't have toddlers to tempt to go to the playground everyday so that I could continue on my OB journey, tasting the rest of the sweet delights that adorn the glass cabinets of the cafe. This is a café I would return to whenever I get the chance.
