Papa Gedes Bar Sydney
A smashing cocktail experience awaits
If Papa Gedes is known as the first man to have ever died; it feels like he has risen from the dead at this chic, rustic bar in one of Sydney's most coolest lane ways. Welcome to
Papa Gede's Bar . Only five weeks old (as at the time of writing this) and things are looking dead set superb.
Some quirky arts hangs
Had a chat with one of the owners Josh; and his personality exudes charm, confidence and a strong business acumen. A great guy who know what he's doing. He'll chat to the customers and build rapport. Enjoying ten years of prosperity in the hospitality industry is no easy feat.
The Bar. Where the magic happens.
This charming bar makes you feel welcome. It feels like you're on a holiday in more ways than one. You're invited to take a seat, and a large glass of water is handed to you. Politely say "thank you" as you'll need this glass of purity. Thankfully, another glass immediately came to me after devouring the cocktail of loving goodness. Lovely.
Tucking into my love potion
You're then handed a menu booklet, and the cocktails dominate. You must be in the mood for a cool cocktail. Sure, you can have a glass of wine - however the cocktails win. You don't even need to flip a coin.
Loving it
The Zombie ($19) to set to be intense. You have been warned. If you love a strong cocktail, your gut reaction might send you back in a pleasant way. All in all there are 20 different cocktails to choose from. They'll all make your mouth water a bit.
I also love the beautiful glass
I went for the Love Potion # 2 ($16), and although personal - I might be missing him already. He has just hopped on a plane to spend time with his family overseas this Christmas. In sensational Sydney where I'm choosing to stay; it is pleasing to purport that some
magical powers are promised in this drink, and from the get go - this is one super charged amazing drink. It's strong, yet refreshingly awesome. Then again there are pimms, cherry, campari and love. You don't want to down it in a hurry. This cocktail is meant to be enjoyed in some smooth tunes, and within dimly lit decor in style and grace.
Ample seating indeed
Mission accomplished. This promising new and wonderful bar is great to chill out alone, or with another person. On that, if you need a cool bar to take your date with; I think I might have just solved a quality problem for you. Love it here.
Just enjoy it
