Just bliss

Parlour Lane Roasters is part of the new QT hotel, right next to the State Theatre on Market Street in the City. It is compact, and definitely has a lane way exuberance. This is one arty, fashion conscious space reminiscent of the hotel space it is a proud occupant of.

Those fresh treats. So tempting.

This is one busy cafe. You will be lucky to nab yourself a table in what is a small space. The service is fast and efficient. If you choose to dine in, even if it is for a coffee; you will be given an eclectic brick as your table number. Legs 11 it was.

Those quirky, creative stool legs.

Speaking of legs, the bar stools are interesting, yet fascinating to view and admire. Different stocking patterns show with the ladies red heels. This is clever creativity. The executive types will even love it.

Old school feel. Just enjoy it here.

Love how the fresh cakes and muffins just sit within easy view at the front counter. There are some food items to enjoy, yet for the purposes of this review I just went for a coffee.

Creative cakes with the brand name

The small cafe latte ($3.50) was enjoyable, and was delivered to my cosy space (in between some fashion backdrops) in a swift fashion. I had to reach for some raw sugar. It could have been due to some tiredness of which was the start of many coffees for me that day. Loved the sweet flavour from three spoons (equivalent) of raw sugar in which you help yourself to in sachets. It was a well brewed but strong coffee. Well priced for such great ambience. As we know Sydney Food Lovers, there are times when we're paying for our environment. $3.50 for a standard coffee is definitely worth the price for that chicness.

At certain times, youre lucky to get a table here.

Rating: 9/10

Where: 49 Market Street Sydney NSW.
Why: Coffee in a cool ambience.
Cost: Only $3.50.
When: Get here before 11am before the crowds mount for their ideal coffee meetings in particular - on weekdays that is.

Retroish with a cool vibe

Good for kids: No. Leave it for the big kids.
Take away: Yes
