[Linkhttp://www.sparqlegroup.com/home-m.html SparQling Mediterranean] is part of the SparQle Group of restaurants and cafés located in Sydney's western suburbs. Just north of Burwood Westfield on Burwood Road there is a strand of new restaurants and casual dining spots which have recently opened. One such restaurant, SparQling Mediterranean, is a true gem.

The main dining area, which can be seen from outside through the floor to ceiling windows, is modern, with pops of vibrant colour and bright lighting. There is also an outdoor seating area along Burwood Road for those who want to experience the hustle and bustle, while indoors is a nice place for larger groups, or if dining with kids.

SparQling Mediterranean provides delectable gourmet food at casual dining prices. The restaurant offers nice Mediterranean and Lebanese style food as well as a selection of pizza, pasta, steaks and seafood. Just watch out for the portions though, or you'll be eating leftovers for days.

As an entrée we ordered a garlic bread ($6) to share. The garlic bread was made on Turkish flatbread and drenched in garlic butter. A must for garlic lovers.

We also ordered two portions of the scotch fillet ($29). This 400g scotch fillet comes served on a bed of golden chips and is served with a side of salad and your choice of sauce.

I ordered my steak rare, and it arrived just as I'd hoped - rare and extremely tender. The sauce, which comes in a cute little bucket, is delicious and is plenty for the steak. I highly recommend either the gravy rosemary or the Diane sauce.

All in all, SparQling Mediterranean is a great place for a delicious casual meal. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, the location is convenient and the service is efficient and attentive. The is also no extra charges for BYO, which is always nice.
