The Coffee Club Rouse Hill
Middle Eastern Inspired Brunch read the signboard outside
The Coffee Club Rouse Hill Town Centre. Who could resist this delicious welcome. I walked in expecting to savour this different kind of brunch option, and I sure was not disappointed.
So this is how it goes. The Middle Eastern Brunch ($13.90) gives you two options to choose from. You could go with the beetroot & feta pesto spread on toasted ciabatta, or settle with the smashed avocado layered ciabatta. Both of these dishes come with a poached egg, a not too large piece of crisp bacon, and to complete this garnished with rocket and a balsamic glaze. When you chew into that perfectly toasted ciabatta, you will not miss the taste of dukkha that is sprinkled generously on top.
A fan of feta, I opted to go with the beetroot ciabatta. The taste was quite refreshing and different to the usual Coffee Club breakfast options. The bread alone could have made a complete brunch dish, but the bacon and egg did add to the weight of the meal.
The smashed avocado option of which I had a taste of was also wonderfully different and delicious.
Though the usual Coffee Club delicacies are always available, and are quite sumptuous on their own, however, these kind of new additions or seasonal offers do tend to create new enthusiasm in regular customers.
, as in many of their sister branches is always packed. Mornings with groups of mothers and elders catching up over a meal and a drink, and lunch time invariably with the office crowd, and towards the evenings with more relaxed groups of people meeting up before heading home.
It's always been a treat to visit this Coffee Club largely due to the friendly and welcoming set of serving staff. Though there were some new faces when I walked in to taste the Middle Eastern brunch; they too had already got into the spirit of the Coffee Club, Rouse Hill and were all smiles, hellos and goodbyes. Nice one.
