The Review Wrapup June 2015
It may be winter, but our reviewers haven't gone into hibernation, at least not yet. There's something for everyone in this month's recommendations, as our writers go from Asia to sizzling South America while sampling some of the best cuisine on Sydney's winter food scene.
New:
Schnitz, World Square
[Image3]
I'm not sure who came up with the genius idea of putting schnitzel between two pieces of bread (so simple, yet effective). I just know that they created something really revolutionary. Schnitz, a fast growing burger chain from Melbourne, has an extensive menu that includes the traditional chicken schnitty as well a selection of new, exciting flavours - so there's something for everyone.
Braza Churrascaria, Westfield Miranda
[Image2]
With a nice location and yummy Brazilian cuisine, this new offering at Miranda Westfield is worth a visit. Be prepared for tonnes of deliciously tender meat cooked slowly over large open fire pits and vibrant traditional Brazilian flavours. This self proclaimed meat-lovers haven is not so vegetarian friendly, although there is a a great tapas-like share menu with great variety. Be sure to try the cassava chips!
Best:
K's Sushi, Burwood
Rating: 8/10

If you haven't tried sushi train yet, K's in Burwood is a good starting point. K's offers a huge selection fresh and tasty dishes off their sushi train menu. Simply grab whichever delectable plate appeals to you most off the train and keep a tally of your bill with the handy colour-coded pricing system. If you're wanting a more traditional dining experience K's also offers a full sit-down menu packed with ramen, stir-fry dishes and soups, so even the pickiest eater is sure to find something they like.
