The Summer House at Fairfield RSL

Situated within Fairfield RSL, The Summer House is an establishment of elegance, finery and relaxed tones.

The food equals the ambience that the restaurant provides. Crisp pastry atop a slow cooked beef and mushroom pie, with the most morish mashed potato you’ll find in western Sydney. The beans, carrots and broccollini that accompany the dish provide a fresh crispness to the meal. This dish was a star amongst the many other meals that were enjoyed over the night.



The vindaloo lamb curry was cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, and the sauce was rather spicy; a great combination for any curry.



The garlic prawns smelt delicious, and tasted as good as they looked. The plump creatures were juicy and flavoursome. The Summer House Burger was laden with bacon, pineapple, beef, lettuce and tomato. The focaccia bread it was served between kept the meal light, and added a little more flare to the dish, compared to your standard burger bun.



If you are looking for a lighter meal option, or you’re a fussy eater, the club sandwich comes highly recommended. Toasted wholemeal bread with melt in your mouth steak, crisp lettuce and ruby red tomato served with chunky chips is a must.

The staff are pleasant, and will look after you throughout the night, filling up your water glasses when drained, and ensuring that you are comfortable.

The decorations, furnishings and background music transport you into a mecca of peace and relaxation. The soothing colours of cream, brown and gold help you to feel pampered.



The Summer House is highly recommended to those looking for a night of indulgence, but don’t want to spend too much money.
